Flow Automata

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-14

Flow Automata does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or sync any personal data. Everything the extension does happens locally in your own copy of Chrome.

Data the extension stores locally

The following stays inside Chrome's chrome.storage.local on your device and is never transmitted off-device by the extension:

Data the extension reads from web pages

While you are on https://labs.google/fx/tools/flow, the extension reads the page's DOM in order to operate it on your behalf — paste prompts, click Run, attach images, and detect when the queue empties. This data is used only to drive the page and is never transmitted by the extension to any third party.

Files the extension writes

Generated images are saved by Chrome's standard downloads API into your Downloads folder, in a flow-automata/<job>/ subfolder, with predictable filenames matching your prompts. You control these files; the extension does not upload, share, or read them after writing.

What the extension does NOT do

Account / authentication

The extension uses your existing logged-in Google session in your browser to drive Google Flow. It does not see, store, or transmit your Google credentials — Chrome handles that.

Permissions

For a per-permission justification (why each Chrome permission is requested), see the permission rationale document distributed with the extension package.

Children

The extension is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly process information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy materially changes, the new version will be published at this URL and the date above will be updated. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance.
